Pre-Seasonal Athletes Evaluation

The foundation of athletic performance and injury prevention begins with the development of stability, strength and flexibility across all joints and throughout an athlete's movement.  Physical evaluation of athlete before starting the sport season provides important information about athlete physical condition based on their sport specific needs. After the initial evaluation an individualized exercises program will be provided if needed to target areas of tightness and weakness. By improving flexibility and muscle strength, athlete will be perform better and safer.

Kinesio taping provides support without limiting range of motion. It is water resistant, breathable and can be worn for up to five days even through intense exercises, showering or swimming.

Cupping

 

Cupping therapy is a form of therapy to increase blood flow and reduce inflammation which is widely used to treat pain by creating suction as a way of stimulating the flow of energy. Cupping therapy might be trendy now but it is not new in our field. We apply more modern version of cupping by using silicon cups which they can move from place to place on your skin for a massage like effect for muscle soreness and pain relief. Sometime few minutes of cupping is equal thirty minutes deep tissue massage.
